[On Water]

WATER IS FUN AGAIN!

Wow....just...wow...this is just so creative and fun that there are not enough words to describe it.

Music: It's fun, I could listen to it all day. The beat if up and fast with a boogy feel to it. The lyrics are fun and I love how you have the word "Gay" be it's REAL meaning. (I'm not homo sexual or phobic mind you) This song reminds me of Veggie Tales, something that both adults and kids like. Great work with the writing and playing on this.

Animation: Clever, creative, other positive words with a C. it's simple but still making you want to watch it all. Having it in crayon is what really makes this flash freaking amazing. It's fun to watch and just an enjoyment that makes you smile.

Overall: This is a brilliant and fun animation. Though FUN seems to be the key word here. I don't have any issues with this flash and will now run through the rest of your works because of their epicness in creativity.

With that aside this is not a surprise considering all of your works are so addicting it should be illegal. Though some of them I wonder if you're either that crazy or use alot of drugs when brainstorming.

But now for a real review.
Music: Doesn't fail to grab me. Nice way of starting it with the....whatever they call that in Japan guitar thing. The beat is addicting with it's fast pace and fun rythem. The lyrics are fun and easy to memorize so I sing along with it all the time now. Though at times they don't make sense when you think about them...then again this whole song doesn't make sense if you think about it. Of course you're rich voice is (like in all your songs) just a joy to listen to. And comparing to Electro Gypsy, the female's voice is ten times more amazing. Where in EG she sounded more like a backup computer (Though that may have been your goal but I whatever) she sounds more like a lead singer in this. Which surprised me a bit considering how nice to listen to it as your voice is. Chorus is fantastic because of this and my favorite part of the whole song.

Now for the Animation.
HOLY CRAP! So fluid, so clean, so epic, so not what they lyrics make it sound to be. When I listen to the lyrics I picture just an short guy talking to an even shorter girl...whose in his shoe box for some reason. But thank God you didn't go that route with the animation. This animation is just perfect on a visual stand point in I want to keep watching and a clever tie into the lyrics with the fact that she's Japanese and you're doing a Godzilla knockoff. It's funny and epic at the same time.

The only thing I HATE in this....is it's short or doesn't loop. But that's just me being completely addicted to this flash. I would love to know what software you're using because I really want to get some stuff up on here but my software is a pain in the ass and I am just starting off. Once again, much like all of your works, this is amazing and should really get 30 stars...but I guess we can settle with 10.

I love the concept.

I love this thing!

I find this extremely clever, with how you showed the HALO version of what the lyrics were saying. Just epic and funny. I think a cooler way of doing this is alot like making a RedvsBlue type, you know using actual multiplayer game play as the footage. That would make me cry from laughing. But this is still freaking funny and awesome.

My reaction timeline

First was WOAH....mainly from the creepy music that made me think I was going to die from a nuclear bomb. Then for the fact that even thought this is at least six years old it is far better than what most animations tend to try to be. Meaning I thought the fluidness of the animation is great and it goes with the creepiness of the music.

Second was WHAT THE HELL?!...Just for the fact that these people are killing a guy because he's not smiling. Now I'm sure there could be a billion ways this can be taken but when I first watched this I was surprised that they go straight to killing the guy. Now this also makes this thing great since it's pretty much like "Obey/Conform or DIE!!!" with an evil laugh to go with it.

Third was COME ON! SMILE FOR THE CAMERA! PLEASE!... Why do I feel so attached to a rectangle with a face. I guess it's because I am as confused of why they want him to smile as he appears to be. I'm attached to a stick figure WHAT THE HELL!?!....YOU'RE TOO GOOD AT THIS!

Fourth was YAY!...I was so happy when he was smiling because I thought he was going to make it.

Fifth was DAMNIT NOOOOOO!!!....I just wanted to cry when he saw his blood and he began to freak out. This is why people say don't look down I guess.

Sixth was WHY?! WHY HIM?! WHAT DID HE DO?!... I'm upset because a box dies, why? I still can't figure this out.

Seventh was WHAT?!?!?!?!!?... Robots....Crazy smiling robots....Oh my gosh.... I really don't know what to say at this part besides WHAT?!

Eight and final reaction was WTF!!!!!!!!... really I have no idea what the hell was going on at the end. Robot Orgy??? This has thrown me off more than the fact that their robots killing Non-smiling people. You have successfully thrown me off my chair in confusion and hilarity at the same time.

All this is one of the weirdest/creepiest/most emotion gripping/twisted/and greatest videos ever. Animation is fascinating even for it's age, music fits perfectly giving you a creeped out feel and uncertainty that the protagonist is feeling. Concept...just wow... What I can gather it's about how society is, everyone conforms to the same thing (in this case smiling) and those who don't should die/leave/be abused/ insert what ever else you can think of. Story...for having absolutely no dialog beside SMILE, this is gripping, tragic, and crazy. You feel the confusion the dying guy feels, "Why are they doing this? Why make him smile? What the hell is going on?", then you get thrown on your ass when the robots start an orgy. Course if you think about it, it does make since, people who conform are pretty much robots with no thought for themselves...and they do the weirdest things just because something (because of the conforming) triggers it.

This video is addicting for it's originality, at least with execution, and complete unpredictability. I love it, and I want more.

THIS IS THE FUNNIEST SERIES I'VE EVER SEEN (flash wise) HOLY CRAP!!!
I hope this was what you were aiming for cuz this is like a parody of...pretty much all "kid animes" especially like the one's I grew up with and to be honest I cried the first time I watched this from laughing so hard. If you're going for what I think you're going for then it's hard to criticize in a way to make it better. Perfect parody of a genre I say. I wish I could give twenty stars cuz I would give it. I really can't say much about the animation since it's not supposed to be fantastic in a fine art sense. But it's fantastic to actually how well it fits with the rest of it, it's not a hell of a lot better in some parts (cept for the guy who died which was genius) or a hell of a lot worse in some parts. The beginning.... I can't really say anything except....I really can't say anything it's too funny for words.

GIANT ROBOTS YAY!!!!

The animation was extremely fluid, but the thing that totally shocked me was how well the lips synced with the words. Also the way that you formated the animation (black bored with the letters/ nothing but black and white lines during the chorus/ and the colors at the end that fit together really well) was extremely interesting and made it more fun to watch. The music (though not my favorite genre) is fun, great beat, and thank not just about whores and drugs and money. It's songs like these that I love to listen to an you just added another song to my list. There's only one thing I had a problem with, nothing major but it has to do with the song. The part where you got to the Zz it seemed to fall off beat and didn't really match up with the rest of the song. But that's nit picking right there, other than that this is one of the most addicting songs on here and best animation (That's not from a big name company) I've seen in a long time.
